Investigation of novel metal-on-metal hip replacements
DePuy International
Supervisor: Professor John Fisher, Dr Sophie Williams

The aim of this project is to assess the performance of novel metal-on-metal hip replacement designs, and to develop further experimental methods. In-vitro studies will include:

* Wear Simulator Studies
* Friction Studies
* Contact Area Measurement
* Measurement of Deformation and Deflection
