Public engagement

We are committed to engaging with the public and communicating the research we are undertaking. 

To date this has included:

  • An exhibition at the Thackray Museum
  • An exhibit at the Royal Society Summer exhibition (2005) and Science day at Buckingham Palace (2006)
  • Regular exhibitor at Otley Science Fair
  • Hosting school visits at the iMBE
  • Great Bones - a workshop for school (Key Stage 3)
  • Cheltenham Science Festival 2011 & 2013

In addition to group based events we are also involved in individual activities such as 6th form career talks, IMechE Regional Lectures, Faculty of Biological Sciences Discovery Zone and Leeds Festival of Science.
