This year the White Rose Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Group (BiTEG) annual meeting will be hosted by the University of Leeds as an online virtual event on Thursday 17th December 2020.
Originally established as a collaboration between the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York, the group has grown to include researchers from across the region. The meeting aims to bring together scientists of all levels to promote new ideas and collaborations, especially providing early career researchers (MSc, PhD and postdocs) with the opportunity to showcase their exciting work and expand their networks.
Registration for the event will open on Monday 26 October and this year as it is online it will be FREE. Register now to secure your place.
We are now accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations (Deadline 18:00, 13th November). We particularly encourage abstracts from early career researchers and PhD students.
This year has seen COVID-19 impact our lives in and out of our research. For that reason, we especially welcome multidisciplinary research in the prevention and mitigation of viral transmission such as anti-viral surfaces or coatings, or other related technology. Furthermore, we will accept abstracts on insights gained during lab closures such as the outcomes of literature reviews, systematic reviews and market analyses etc. in the BiTEG area.
All details for abstract submission and templates, registration and programme will be found on the companion pages in the menus to the left.
Looking forward to seeing you all in December.
